Specialising in Autism, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Mental Health

living and practising in London, UK.

I support autistic children, young people and their families through evidence-based behavioural and psychological approaches. I have extensive experience in Positive Behaviour Support, mental health, executive functioning, and behaviour that challenges. Alongside behavioural consultation, I provide individual and group therapy for autistic teenagers experiencing anxiety, low mood and social anxiety.

I'm also the founder and CEO of Spectrum Socials CIC, helping autistic children build friendships, confidence and a sense of belonging through therapist-led social events and therapeutic groups.

How to start an ABA programme

Once you're ready to begin, I'll carry out a comprehensive assessment to understand your child's strengths, needs and goals. This typically takes around three hours and may include tools such as the VB-MAPP and Vineland, alongside observations and interviews. You'll receive a detailed report and personalised recommendations within two weeks.

We'll then hold a collaborative planning meeting with everyone involved in your child's support, whether that's family members, tutors, school staff or other professionals. Together we'll review the programme, discuss practical strategies, provide training where needed, and make sure everyone feels confident supporting your child consistently.

Support doesn't stop once the programme begins. We'll meet regularly to review progress, analyse data and adapt the programme as your child develops. Ongoing parent coaching and training are available to help you feel confident using practical, evidence-based strategies that improve communication, independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Contact me through the website and tell me a little about your child, your goals and where you're based.

I'll arrange a call to answer your questions, learn more about your child and discuss the support that would best meet your family's needs.

I can support you to recruit and train tutors or support staff where needed. Whether you're looking for Positive Behaviour Support, an ABA programme, parent coaching, school consultation or therapy, I'll help you build the right package of support for your child.

More about me!

More about me!

I specialise in supporting autistic children, young people and their families through Behaviour Analysis, Positive Behaviour Support and evidence-based psychological approaches. Over the past 15 years, I've worked across homes, schools, the NHS and community services, helping children and young people develop communication, independence, emotional wellbeing and a better quality of life.

My areas of expertise include Positive Behaviour Support, executive functioning, emotional regulation, anxiety, behaviour that challenges, social skills and parent coaching. Alongside behavioural consultation, I provide individual and group therapy for neurodivergent children and young people, integrating approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) where appropriate.

For 6 years, I worked as a Behaviour Analyst within an NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Learning Disability team, supporting children and young people with autism, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge as part of a multidisciplinary team.

I hold a BSc in Psychology, a Master's degree in Social Work and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis. I'm also the founder and CEO of Spectrum Socials CIC, a community organisation dedicated to reducing social isolation and improving the mental health of autistic children through therapist-led social events and therapeutic groups.

Outside work, I'm a mum to two wonderful children. Parenthood has given me an even greater appreciation of the realities families face every day, and it continually shapes the way I work, ensuring my advice is practical, compassionate and tailored to each family's individual needs.

Testimonials

Annabel has worked with us since 2011, first as an excellent ABA tutor and we then took her on as our consultant BCBA in 2016. We love working with Annabel! She is creative and rigorous in her approach, and is a real team player: our tutors also enjoy working with her. The service that she provides is highly individualised - she really knows my son and this commitment means that she deploys the correct strategies with confidence, and we see great results, time and time again. She has also forged a great relationship with my son's school, so that we are fortunate enough to have a happy team around my son, all on the same page. Annabel's paperwork and reports are always user-friendly and detailed, and she uses her time with us efficiently. We are truly grateful for Annabel's hand in guiding us to support our son through his various challenges over the years.

Anoushka, (parent)

My son had Annabel from the start of our journey. She is the most dedicated and professional ABA consultant I have ever met. We have now moved to the US and I can say that having met many. She worked with my child from the moment we met when he was 2 until the last day we lived in UK, he was 6 years old then. I still speak and trust her opinion more then any other professional to this day.
